Both Feet
Musicians come from all around the
world to play live music in Austin TX. But when was the last time you heard
a band from Alaska?
If you don’t know or if you haven’t heard about this already, this weekend
is the best time to go hear a great one. Both Feet is a band that hails from
Kasilof, Alaska and they’re playing during South By South West Music
Festival on Friday March 18th, 2011. It is a free afternoon showcase from 3:00 Pm
to 4:00 P.m. at Opal Divines on 6th street. The band consists of four
members - Neil Darling, Paul Hays, Paul Prestige and Sunny Plummer.
Neil Darling said...
“When we were nineteen we just hopped on a plane and moved down here to
Austin and we got an apartment with no furniture and no cars. We walked
everywhere and we just did it for the music,” said Darling. “We’ve always
thought that we were pretty proud of everything we did as musicians so we
wanted to show it off to more than the 25 people in Kasliof.”
When it comes to what style of music Both Feet plays, Como Se Llama has two
words. GOOD MUSIC! Don't miss this show! This will be the
next big band out of Austin TX.
The band is very soulful
with blues and rock influences.

20 2011. Good times in the sun music, ideal tunes for the Austin Summer and
